HARP & CROWN PUB (visitors)  versus  AMIGO’S RESTAURANT (home)

AMIGO’S finished 1st in the regular season AND appeared to be unstoppable…until last week.  It came down to a called 3rd out at home plate that prevented the game from going into extra innings.  The team that squeaked out that win…none other than…

HARP & CROWN whom finished 2nd in the regular season.  Somehow they managed to reach the finals in a rather unique fashion…they have played 5 playoff games thus far…4 of the 5 games have been games with a run differential of 1 run

GOOD LUCK TO BOTH TEAMS!!  Let’s have some fun

Gentlemen…

First…the exec wishes to extend an apology to all members of the MSPA for the delayed update in standings/statistics on the website.  We do understand that our website is frequently accessed by you and the importance of ensuring that the information is up-to-date.  Our failure to do so was a result of number of issues…primarily the move to a “new” website (now being hosted by GoDaddy) AND my inexperience to website design / wordpress and sportspress.  Still a ways to go on the learning curve…however…the website is almost where we want it.  Looks pretty good though…we have had a number of positive comments.

The standings/statistics are now up-to-date…please peruse…and if are errors/omissions….please let a member of the exec know

Based on the schedule…we have allocated 1 week for rain-out games.  The exec will be re-assessing due to number of games cancelled and will inform the MSPA members once the action plan is determined.

WOW….what a GREAT NIGHT FOR SOME BASEBALL….

no rain in the forecast
a light southwest breeze
a huge turnout of fan support

AND

two good-looking ball teams (not necessarily referring to how they play)….rivalling it out for the CHAMPIONSHIP GAME !!

….however….there can only be  1 winner….CONGRATS to “ LUCAS AUTOMOTIVE “
